Hindustan Copper Limited is an India-based vertically integrated copper-producing company. The Company is engaged in the business of mining and processing of copper ore. The principal activities of the Company are exploration, exploitation, mining of copper and copper ore including beneficiation of minerals, smelting and refining. It has copper mines and concentrator plants in Malanjkhand Copper Project in Madhya Pradesh (MCP), Khetri Copper Complex in Rajasthan (KCC) and Indian Copper Complex, Ghatsila in Jharkhand (ICC). The Company has smelter and refinery plants at ICC and Gujarat Copper Project, Gujarat (GCP) for the production of copper cathode and thereafter conversion of cathode to copper wire rod at Taloja Copper Project, Taloja, Maharashtra (TCP). The Company markets copper cathodes, continuous cast copper rods and by-products, such as anode slime (containing precious metals), copper sulfate and sulfuric acid. Its subsidiary is Chhattisgarh Copper Limited.
