Its blocks include Kanawara Block, which covers an area of over 6.3 square kilometers (sq km) and is located in the Tarapur Block north of Khambhat, Gujarat; North Kathana Block, which covers an area of approximately 12.20 sq km and is located north of the Kathana Field; Dholasan Block falls in the Mehsana tectonic block of cambay basin and is located to the southern flank of Sobhasan anticlinal structure; Allora Block, which is located east of the Balol field and approximately 8 kilometers (kms) north west of Meshana town, India. North Balol Block, which covers an area of approximately 27.3 sq km and is located 16 km west of the Meshana town, Gujarat, and Unawa Block, is located 20 km north of Mehsana town in north Gujarat.
