The Company is a basmati rice producer and has fully integrated operations in the basmati value chain, which include seed development, contact farming, procurement of paddy, storage, processing, packaging, branding and marketing. It operates through two segments: Agri and Energy. Its Agri segment comprises agricultural commodities, such as rice, furfural, seed, bran, bran oil, and others. Its Energy segment comprises power generation from wind turbines, husk-based power plants and solar power plants. The Company offers its rice under a range of brands, including India Gate, Nur Jahan, Telephone, Train, Unity, Lotus, Lion, Doon, Aarati, Quilada, Al Wisam, Granny's Kitchen, Necklace, Bemisal and Indian Farm, among others. India Gate is the flagship brand both in domestic and international markets. Its subsidiaries include KRBL DMCC and KRBL LLC.
